This year I built a custom rabbit hutch for my daughter, who is the proud owner of a beautiful dwarf, jersey wooly rabbit. The rabbit hutch is solid wood with two levels, connected by a ramp, and the doors open for full access.


Like most, if not all of my projects, this rabbit hutch filled a need. The need serves as the inspiration and when it hits, I run with it! That means I don’t usually have a documented plan. I have a good idea of what I want to do and the only planning really comes in determining how much material I need.
